My dad is in Iraq for a year. He got sent there on November 10th 2008, and he will be there for a year. Right now I miss him, but I have got a package from him for Christmas. I was very happy about this. He is my hero and it is good to know that he is safe.
My nephew leaves tomorrow for his second tour. He will be gone a year as well. I feel your pain.
